SHIPPING & RETURNS
Working days are Monday – Friday excluding bank holidays. Our aim is for online orders placed after 6 p.m. on Friday will be despatched the next working day with the exception of Roasted coffee and Prints as they are prepared to order. We cannot guarantee that all orders will be despatched on the day of ordering. Orders placed on bank holidays or during other closure periods will be despatched on the first working day after the closure period.
We roast our coffees in limited quantities once a week on Tuesday, so your coffee order with probably reach you at the end of the week. All orders placed before 6pm on Monday will be roasted and despatched on Wednesday. Any orders received after this time will be held until the following week.
When is Coffee at its best?
We time the dispatch of our coffees so that most of the resting occurs during the period of transit to our customers. By the time a bag of coffee bought via this website reaches you, much of the resting is complete.
Coffee may be rested before being despatched.
Delivery rates are priced on weight and will be added automatically when an order is placed. Please note that the delivery rate is calculated based on physical weight or volumetric weight of the outer carton the product is shipped in, whichever is greater. This is due to how shipping is calculated by the providers we use. The final price will be in pounds sterling (unless otherwise stated).

Under 2kg: £3.05 Royal Mail Second Class
Between 2.01kg and 5kg: £5.99 via Hermes
Between 5.01kg and 10kg: £6.99 via Hermes
Deliveries over 10.01kg: £9.20 via Hermes

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer shipping for customers outside the United Kingdom
Normally orders are processed within one business day of confirmed payment, and shipped via Royal Mail Standard 2nd Class Delicery (or courier for orders over 2kg). Expect delivery of your order within 28 days although most items will be received within 5 working days. If we cannot ship the goods within this time we will inform the consumer immediately and agree on another time for shipment. If we cannot agree on another time, we will offer the consumer a refund. Northern Ireland and Highlands & Islands or European countries addresses may take up to 7 working days. International shipments may take up to 14 days. Orders over 10kg may be split into multiple deliveries, with the first carton dispatched to arrive within 5 working days.

If goods are returned due to being faulty, so long as they are returned within a reasonable time the remedy afforded to the customer, under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended), is a refund. Also, where a consumer exercises his cancellation rights the customer will be given a refund within 30 days of their cancellation.
You the consumer are given the right to cancel as required by the Distance Selling Regulations (to not include orders that are to your personal specification). You the consumer have the right to cancel your order without giving a reason. The cancellation period in the case of contracts for the supply of goods begins with the day on which the contract is concluded. The cancellation period ends on the expiry of 7 working days, beginning on the day after the day on which the consumer receives the goods. You the consumer may be required to return the goods at your own expense. Items must be returned in the condition they were sent and be unopened. Roasted coffee is excluded from these terms.
